The theme for the fall of 2022 is "Unleash." In conjunction with the 17th Shibuya Music Festival, a one-day red carpet appeared in Shibuya! The street fashion show "SHIBUYA RUNWAY" was held, using the streets as a runway. The first part of the show was "SHIBUYA STYLE," introducing real clothes for this fall from commercial establishments participating in Shibuya Fashion Week. In the second part, under the theme of "THE INCUBATION," a variety of new works by students of Bunka Fashion College, expressed from Shibuya, were presented in collaboration with the experimental lab "CULTURAL LAB." at Bunka Fashion College, organized by fashion director Sou Yamaguchi. The event provides an opportunity for incubation from Shibuya, and disseminates new fashion culture both domestically and internationally.
