2021春のコンセプトは「CROSS OVER」。「世界が様変わりするなか、様々な ヒト・モノ・コトが行き交う渋谷が、変化する生活様式に合わせて、ファッション・アートの力によって乗り越え、その先へ進む」という想いを込めた。今回の「SHIBUYA RUNWAY」はファッションブランド「KANSAI YAMAMOTO」が参加し、世界初、渋谷スクランブル交差点でコレクションを行い、ファッションムービーとしてオンライン配信した。歩みを止めることなく進み続けた2020年、そしてその先へ進み続ける2021年、渋谷の明るい未来につながることを目指し、感染拡大防止に留意した新しい形での開催を模索しながら実施した。
The concept of 2021 spring is "CROSS OVER". We believe that as the world changes, Shibuya, where various people, goods, and things come and go, overcomes challenges and prospers with the power of fashion art in accordance with the changing lifestyle. The fashion brand "KANSAI YAMAMOTO" participated in this year’s "SHIBUYA RUNWAY", which became the world's first runway show at Shibuya Scramble Square and it was streamed online as a fashion movie. In 2020, which passed without stopping, and in 2021, which is moving forward, the event was held while taking preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19 and with the aim of creating a bright future in Shibuya.
