日本を代表する浮世絵師葛飾北斎とジャパンレザーのコラボレーションを手がける「創悦」では、遊び、スポーツ、アートを切り口に JAPAN LEATHER の魅力を発信。 この一年を通して世界は大きく混乱し、「新しい生活様式」によって私たちの様々な「当たり前」が大きく変化する中で変わらずお届けしたいのは、日本のものづくりに対する「心」。世の中が変化しても変わらないこだわりや誇りなど、「心」がある。改めて日本が誇る伝統文化や技術を見つめ直し心を込めて伝えていくことを今回の展示会では表現した。
"Souetsu," a collaboration between leading Japanese ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai and Japan Leather, conveys the appeal of JAPAN LEATHER from the perspective of play, sports, and art. The world has been in great confusion throughout this year, and as our "normal" changes drastically in various ways due to our "new lifestyle,” we want to continue delivering the "spirit" of Japanese manufacturing. There is a "spirit" of commitment, pride etc. that remains unchanged even as the world changes. In this exhibition, we have expressed our intention to reexamine the traditional culture and technologies that Japan is proud of and go forward imparting them wholeheartedly.
